What is a Measuring Wheel and what are they used for? 

Measuring wheels also known as a surveyor’s wheel, trundle wheel and click wheel are a tool used to measure distances. Usually they are a wheel attached to a long handle with a grip. As the wheel rotates it marks off the number of times it turns calculating the distance. The smoother and flatter the surface it’s being used on, the more accurate the reading will be. A versatile tool which can be used by many varied professionals including contractors, landscapers, farmers, schools, plumbing and irrigation workers etc.
