What can hand brushes be used for?

Hand brushed come in various styles, sizes, colours and designs are used for a variety of purposes. Hand brushes are a practical way to clean up any surface. 

Wire brushes – Abrasive in nature so ideal for removing rust, dirt, paint, varnish from surfaces etc. Clean grills and barbeques after use, bike maintenance and many industrial applications. The shortness of the bristles makes them stiff and more robust. Smaller wire brushes are ideal for cleaning between tiles, upholstery, polishing small parts and hard to reach areas.

Nylon brushes - Come with either soft or hard bristles. 

The hard nylon brushes are used for similar applications as the wire brushes but not quite as aggressive. Safer to use on most surfaces as less abrasive than wire, brass or steel.

The soft nylon can be used for finer and more delicate cleaning, Ideal for dusting solar panels, radiators, motorbikes or bicycles, especially in hard to access areas and corners.

Horsehair brushes – Soft bristles ideal for cleaning up excess mortar and other masonry applications. Perfect for cleaning away dust and fine particles.
